Thematic morning
In 1982, Florentino Arzuaga, founder of the winery, bought this land called “La Planta”; where you all will be able to enjoy the vastest vineyards typical from the Golden Mille. In the same area of 1,500 hectares, the plot also has 150 hectares of vineyards of different varieties that can identify, a hunting large game reserve where live wild boars, deers and mouflons.
Our visitors will be able to enjoy a wonderful walk in a free natural environment. Depending on the season our visitors will be able to walk around the vineyard, try the grapes directly from the stock, analyze the different kinds of grape varieties, get to know the different styles of pruning. Furthermore you will be able to hug our millennial oak that will transmit you its positive energy in order to finish our tour peacefully.
If it is vintage time you will enjoy a more authentic day together with our grape pickers.
After the tour around the plot we will show you the most advanced winemaking techniques which are used in our facilities. Also we will show you the winemaking process: harvest and transformation of grapes, cask ageing, bottling and bottle aging until the bottles are sold.
Finally you will be able to try the proof of the good work of Arzuaga Navarro, with two wines of great popularity among our distinguished clients: Red Arzuaga La Planta and Red Arzuaga Crianza, always with a seasonal culinary suggestion.
