The vineyard from which the grapes Tempranillo with which this wine is made, has an age of 25 years and is located on our farm La Planta, located at 911m altitude in full Ribereña golden mile, in the Valladolid town, Quintanilla de Onésimo. Special field for their uniqueness of calcareous clay soils with bedrock unfragmented within a meter of the surface.
The first collection of Tempranillo grapes of the year, from Bodegas Arzuaga, is aimed producing this wine. This early harvest allows us to get much of the organoleptic characteristics which then takes the wine.
All harvest is done manually, so that the grapes reach the winery whole, where after a rigorous selection, carefully pressed to extract only the required color. All at temperature not exceeding 12 º C, kept in the fermentation itself, after which the wine takes a natural settling for cold and bottled to retain its freshness and liveliness.
