The Tempranillo, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot varieties with which this wine is made belong to the vineyard "La Maquinilla", the oldest part of our estate "La Planta"; grown to 911 meters in clay-calcareous soils with limestone mother rock a meter from surface.
In mid-October, arrived at optimum ripeness, the grapes are harvested in boxes of 15 kg, then they will go through a selection table and are destemmed until encube in stainless steel tanks where after a few days macerating cold, they ferment to a maximum temperature of 27ºC.
Aged for 16 months in barrels, 50% French oak and 50% American oak makes it a fine and subtle wine.
VISUAL: Clean and bright, dark cherry and purple flashes.
NOSE: Extraordinary nose, intensely aromatic, predominance of ripe forest fruits, purple flowers, balsamic, and a caramelized background.
PALATE: Step broad and round mouth. Velvety sensation that gives us a great and elegant length. The wine in the mouth is a faithful memory of a nose so complex.
Ideal for red meats, poultry, wholesale and pen, grilled or in sauce hunting companion. Blue fish and soft cheeses.
