This wine has been produced with strains from the La Planta, owned by the Arzuaga Navarro family, in Onesimus Quintanilla in the heart of the Ribera del Duero.
The vines are Tempranillo, aged above 20 years.
Soils with clay-limestone bedrock unfragmented within a meter of the surface, with its altitude of 911 meters and its continental climate, give it its special characteristics.
When the grapes are at their peak of ripeness is harvested by hand in boxes of 15Kgs, the grapes are picked in the selection table, and then destemmed and barreling in stainless steel tanks where they macerarán cold and will place the alcoholic fermentation at temperatures controlled between 22ºC and 24ºC.
After fermentation proceeds to the aging of wine aged in French and American oak barrels, where it will remain for six months.
VISUAL: Intensity of upper-middle, with red cherry and violet tones shades denoting youth wine.
NOSE: Aromatic intensity, with a variety of fresh berries, blueberries, currants, raspberries. Typicality of scrubland, assembled with hints of caramel and roasted it gives us the breeding made in barrels.
MOUTH: Balance and harmony among all taste components, we have a structured wine, and fleshy, and always dazzles with softness and freshness of our own wine La Planta.
Fish fried or in sauce, sausage, white meat, roast poultry, rice sea and mountain, soft cheeses or soon healed.
Optimal serving temperature at 14ºC - 16ºC.
